FELINE REHAB by Alex McAulay
So anyway, what you see in the picture to the left is our cat BronBron trying to open a bottle of wine with her teeth. The reasons behind her actions are unclear... unless she has secretly become a raging alcoholic! I'm particularly amused by the feral look in her eyes, and her bared fangs. She wants her liquor, goshdarnit! Anyway, I just hope she doesn't become a bad influence on our other cat, Ishmael, and lead him astray... Ah well, at least BronBron has discovered the most important substance in the life of a writer (just kidding!)

I've been thinking of adopting a kitty. This is a good argument for putting kitty through a battery of psychological tests and doing a background check before I let her near my 6-year-old.
God, I just love cats. They do the greatest things. Our cat sits in a chair at our table with us while we eat dinner (if you find that gross, I never said that). She is always sitting on my manuscripts while I'm trying to revise, apparently she loves to relax on recycled paper. And she insists on sleeping between my legs at night so that any time I want to move I have to maneuver around her. I'm going to show her this picture and see if she wants to have BronBron over for cocktails one evening.
Oh the cat stories I could tell. I have three. One, Kaspar who would be the perfect boyfriend for BronBron because they totally match. Though he is more interested in eating the crud you wash from your dirty dishes in the sink than getting his drink on. But maybe he could bring the vittles and she could bring the booze.
Love the pic, and I think kitties are adorable. Too bad I've always been allergic. ugh!
hee hee! BronBron is always up for cocktails or booze of any form (apparently). But her favorite thing in the world is actually a stuffed toy lobster that she carries around in her mouth from room to room. She will frequently bring me the lobster and then sit there meowing until I toss it for her, and she runs and fetches it like a puppy!
Okay, THAT is funny.
